Art Journal

This artwork is a summer assignment that I got from paint class. The assignment guide was to make a journal that tells a visual story of a week to two weeks long and in there put anything that’s on your mind; the target was to use all the paper that was given (half a folio).

I, like any deviant that loves deviantART, hang daily on deviantART to surf on the website and find art that’s to my like and favorite it (through groups, DDs etc.)

I came up with the idea to take my favorites and put them in a thumbnail size on the paper every day, and since I had to mention the names of the artists, the concept of the artwork came to me: there are millions of amazing artists (in any medium, any technique) who try to feature themselves just as I do and many of them may not reach the levels of many artists whose artworks are exhibited or are taught in Art History.

We never give up though, and we shouldn’t.
